Calypsonic e.V.,

gegründet 2009, hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, karibische Musik und Kultur zu präsentieren und erlebbar zu machen.

Herzstück des Vereins ist das „Calypsonic Steel Orchestra“, das mit original karibischen Steelpans und Percussion die typisch karibische Klangwelt und  Rhythmik virtuos präsentiert sowie auf bekannte Titel aus Pop, Jazz oder Klassik überträgt.

Das Orchester spielt in unterschiedlichen Formationen auf vielen  nationalen und internationalen Veranstaltungen, Partys und Festivals, veranstaltet eigene Konzerte und hat bei internationalen Wettbewerben viele Preise erhalten:
